Haaaaaaaappppyyyy Monday! New Week! New Goals! New Ways to Crush EVERY single one of them! I’m excited for this week simply because I’m doing a little bit of executing so your girl is feeling good and feeling great.
Before the year started, I wanted ONE word to guide me through the year. I wanted to make it my duty to focus on this word and take steps EVERY single day to ensure it’s being executed in all of the positive aspects of this word. After thinking long and hard and reflecting on ALL of the good, the bad and the ugly of last year, my word for 2019 is CONSISTENCY. Consistency has been something I have lacked for soooo long. I’m so good at starting, stopping, starting, stopping and then starting again. One thing I realized is that being INCONSISTENT is in no way, shape, form or fashion going to help me achieve the goals I’ve aimed to lchieve this year as well as in life.
I have inconsistently blogged, posted videos on my Youtube, updated my pages, and dedicated myself to the #rateddHER and #rateddRamaiseya brand. I was consistently INCONSISTENT but wanted these consistent results. HOW? HOW? HOW? How could I expect to reach every single one of my goals but post once every 3 months, record a YouTube video every 6 months and take pics once every other month? SOOOO many times we are expecting these grand big results but give the most minimal effort. We want the status, the rewards, the notoriety but we aren’t taking the little, necessary steps daily. We spend more time scrolling and comparing then actually putting in the work.
I found myself doing so much thinking, overthinking and expecting but found myself putting in little to no work. My word for the year is CONSISTENCY because it’s exactly what I want this year to be for me and for you. A CONSISTENT flow of income, opportunities, laughs, peace, joy and love. I want each and every one of you to put in the work and watch God move mountains.
I can’t wait to hear from you in the coming months about all of the amazing things you have done, the goals you have accomplished and the ones you’re still going after. Let’s keep each other accountable in being CONSISTENT!
