Dear Black Man...

Dear Black Man...

In light of EVERYTHING going on with our Black men, I decided to show my love and appreciation for them via this blog. I'm a true lover of the Black man and my heart has been so heavy these last few days seeing the way they've been hurt and displayed as animals. As a BLACK woman who will marry a BLACK King in which we will procreate, producing beautiful BLACK Princes and Princesses, I have no choice but to show my love and appreciation for a race of Kings which are the foundation of our existence.

Dear Black Man,

I prayed for you last night. See this prayer was a little bit different than the rest because instead of me praying for God to just protect you and keep you safe, I decided to let him know why. See Black man, the color of your skin alone is a threat to them. Black signifies strength and power, giving it the keen ability to be able to overshadow any color around. See Black is a color which demands respect and forces you to take heed! See Black man, it's not the fact that you're bigger than them, badder than them or even the fact that you're far more educated than you take credit for. What scares them is your ability to be one of the most talented beings on the face of the Earth. From sports to politics to music, your talents transcends those of your counterparts. What scares them is your intellect and how you can take the bricks thrown at you and build a house so strong, nothing can break it down. What scares them is how you speak your mind and speak it with such a stength that people have no choice but to take heed. See Black man I love you! I respect you! I value you! I cherish you! I appreciate you! On those days when seeing your worth may be a little harder because of the fogged messages of society, I will pick you up reminding you of your place on the throne. On those days when a Black man in America is just too much to bear, I will be there to walk with you and protect you from the spears being thrown your way. See Black man, I am your Queen and you are my King and nothing in this world can dilute what you mean to me. Last night I prayed for you Black man and right before I closed my eyes, I told God to pick you up and place you in his hand because with him you will always be safe! Keep standing strong Black man, I have your back and nothing in this world can make me want to lose this spot!
