Flawless Skin Under $10...
Today is ALLL about the skin. I am an avid lover of skincare because like I always say, amazing skincare is the foundation of amazing makeup. I am always trying new skincare products and playing around with different routines for my combination oily skin. I recently stumbled upon these two jewels that I cannot under any circumstance live without and I cannot wait to share them with you.
When it comes to skincare, there is no amount that is too much. I will stay in Sephora for hours at a time trying to find products that mesh well with my skin and will give me that Summertime glow all year round. Even though I absolutely love Sephora, I do not mind going to my local Walmart and Target and finding products that are affordable yet effective.
In a recent trip to Walmart, I was scrolling down the soap aisle looking for a soap that would be great for Karmyn's eczema and I spotted the Shea Moisture black soap. Now I tried black soap in high school and it was a complete fail and left my skin feeling so dry and dusty. I had been battling with breakouts due to my cycle and just being overly stressed and heard black soap was the perfect remedy to combat breakouts and leave your skin feeling smooth. I decided to let the past be the past and give the black soap another try. I am beyond glad I made that decision because this cleanser has been nothing short of life changing. I use it every other night in conjuction with my Clarisonic with the pore cleansing brush head and it has worked miracles on my skin. It is $3.00 at your local Walmart or Target. My skin is breakout free even when my cycle comes around and it is so soft and smooth.
Even though my breakouts were gone, I still had a plethora of dark marks on my face that were so obviously annoying and had to find something that would fix this problem immediately. I tried different toners and moisturizers and nothing seemed to really give me long-lasting results when it comes to lightening the marks. I came across the Palmers Skin Success Anti-Dark Spot Fade Cream and my face hasn't been the same since. Not only does the product lighten your dark spots but it also contains sunscreen which helps to prevent the spots from darkening again. This product is only $6.00 at your local Walmart and is worth every penny. I apply it to my face morning and night and in the last two months have seen such a huge difference with the spots on my face. Now this product is NOT an overnight fix. You do have to be patient because it does take time for the dark marks to fade but when they do, you will be buying this product over and over and over again. I'm already on my fourth tube! I am currently using it on my shoulders to fade the dark spots left from my bras pre my breast reduction. I will update you all with the results! Definitely try these products out and let me know if they work for you! Until next time loves!:)
