REVIEW: Lancome Tient Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation
It's makeup Thursday! I've decided to make Thursdays the day I give you all the scoop about makeup products I'm trying, makeup products I'm loving and even makeup products I can do without. I will be giving you my honest opinion about all these products and how they're working for me; a WOC!
I went to Sephora a couple of weeks ago and balled out like a true makeup lover should! I bought products I had been hearing about, products which had super cute packaging and products that were screaming "buy me, buy me, BUY ME!" I had been a die hard fan of the Loreal Infalliable Pro-Matte Foundation but wanted to throw all my money away on a high-end foundation which cost way more than it needs to be so I had to pick up this Lancome Tient Idole Foundation. The Foundation retails at $47.00 and offers such a vast amount of shades. You should have no problem finding a shade that works perfectly for you. The foundation claimed to be one which lasts for 24 hours, "touch up free," and did I not mention full-coverage!
I recently shot an episode of "rateddTALK" and thought it would be the perfect time to test out the foundation since I would literally be shooting the majority of the day. I opted for a "natural" look applying the foundation with my "go to" beauty blender. The beauty blender did sheer the foundation, making it more skin like and I absolutely loved it. I am purchasing a few foundation brushes this week and will be testing out the foundation with those brushes as well. I wore the foundation for about 8 hours and let me admit, the foundation stood the test of time and stayed true to it's "no re-touch" guarantee. I'm in shade SUEDE W and at first thought the foundation was a tad bit too dark but after seeing it on camera and in pictures, it was the perfect match.
This is a picture of me after 8 hours wearing the foundation. It's not the absolute best picture but it shows how the foundation stood throughout the entire day of filming, running errands and just my busy day to day life. I rate this foundation an A+ and can't wait to try it again and again and again. You can purchase it HERE! Let me know if you like it?
