I've been on a long journey lately, the journey of letting my eyebrows grow out. It's been a gruesome process that I've almost gave up and said eff it at least twenty times! I desired a thicker and fuller brow so I knew the ugly stage was just a part of the process. I finally reached my breaking point today and decided to give in and have them taken care of.
I had been hearing about, as well as researching, eyebrow threading. The fact they last almost two weeks longer than waxing and was better on the hair follicles was enough for me to give it a try. I was so nervous and was even sweating in the threading chair.
The threader proceeded to tell me to hold my eyebrow up and my eye down with both of my hands. She wrapped the white thick thread tight around two fingers and begin to thread away months and months of stubborn eyebrow hair. The first initial yank was the hardest. I literally jumped and clinched my fist! The whole process lasted a total of five minutes and the pain really wasn't as bad as I initially thought. I love how natural, yet full, my eyebrows look and I can't wait until three weeks to get them done again. Oh ,did I mention, the threading cost only $2.99, yes, $2.99!
