To be honest, I haven't been wanting to put on clothes lately! I've been extremely lazy and just haven't been in the mood to really put on "real" clothes. Me and gym clothes have been dealing hand in hand and I'm loving the comfortability I get from wearing them. For some, wearing casual, gym clothes around is not the definition of style but you can dress these clothes up to make them look so chic, yet so comfortable.
From adding a pair of heels to popping on a colored lip to even adding a cute, compact purse, you can definitely take this style from boring to booming! Adding accessories such as midi rings, earrings and even watches adds a chic flare as well. Gym clothes(sweatpants, hoodies, etc.) in the past were considered lazy wear and only was thought about when describing working out, laying around the house or running errands. Now you can change that and make it just as cute as a Little Black Dress!
Below are some of my favorite casually chic looks! I'll be showing you a lookbook of how I put this trend together really soon on my personal YouTube channel debuting next month!
And don't let the sandals with the trend scare you, it's absolutely nothing wrong with a little foot cleavage during the colder months! If showing your toes is something you're not the biggest fan of, you can most definitely pair this comfortable trend with your favorite closed toe pumps or really take it up a notch with a pair of thigh high boots. In the world of fashion, we pay the weather no mind, we dress depending on our mood! :-)
Comfortable gym wear brands I absolutely love are Nike, Adidas and a brand I lucked up on in JCPenny called Xersion. I use these brands when I really want that chic, pulled together comfortable look. They offer cute patterns and fit in the all the right spots. You can find cute and affordable Nike and Adidas activewear at Macy's and my favorite, Lady Foot Locker. They, of course, sell them at your local Nike and Adidas store. I also purchase my sweatpants, hoodies, etc. from H&M and Forever 21 for the days I really just want the basics! They're extremely comfortable and affordable.
